who says im not pro-pinoy?

when team philippines of amazing race asia 2 (marc and rovilson) lost the race on its last and most critical leg to the singaporeans, i was so happy. i even said, 'buti nga sa kanila' -- a sarcastic good for them. but then again, you know why. i still feel we should have been picked to race. besides, team philippines already won a lot. and i've always been a fan of the underdogs.

now comes american idol season 7. and a pinay is up for the running once again. the last pinay to really make waves was jasmine back in season 3. so im really excited seeing another pinay shining through the most talked about singing competition. and boy ... isnt she cute and pretty?! weird enough, but she reminds me of a mix of jasmine trias and heart evangelista. when she sang a classic -- 'you dont have to say you love me' ... she hit me. oh man! i really really really hope she makes it to the top.
