guest blogger

i never expected this blog would last this long. im not really a blogger and tracing back the reason for setting-up this blog -- this should have already served its purpose. it's nice to see that it's evolving and growing. i came up with an idea to invite people to write and post an entry here. ofcourse it's by special invitation and only to people we especially know personally. im very pleased to say that the very 1st invitation goes to darling aza. she (with her dear friend, kamarul) recently went on a trip to the islands of the philippines for a holiday. she visited manila, tagaytay, makati, ortigas, and ofcourse boracay! i can only write from a 'host perspective', and i want to do it only after i hear/read about the guest's point of view. so before i write more ... let me pass the pen or keyboard? to aza ...

so long mr yang!

never had the chance to blog about it. but yea, mr yang left the company a few weeks back. i cant remember the date ('coz not worth rememberin' i guess), but it's early august. time flew so fast and i cant wait for the time that we're gonna visit him in china. everything is still in the planning stage and there's a lot to take care of before it materializes. there's the visa. there's flight arrangements. board and lodging. itinerary. stuff to bring. money to save. leaves to file. hahaha! i hope this whole plan pushes through though. i'm sure it's goin to be a blast. right now, i can only i can imagine the 13 hour train trip from shanghai to beijing. the hundreds (maybe thousands) of photos we will take -- all possible settings: airport, in the plane, shanghai city, meeting-up with work friends, train station, inside the train, sleeping in the train, lots of photos while we eat, and more when we eat again, then when we eat some more, climbing the great wall, pictures with nature, picture with posters/ads for the 2008 beijing olympics, with bunny, with a waitress ... it's like penang adventure moving to china.

so there, even though yang is gone from the work scene, the friendship remains. we may not be able to chat with him as often as we wish (specifically miss his calls to talk about "non-sense", meaning non-biz-related topics -- hahaha!), but there's somethin to look forward to early next year.

hey mimi! goodluck on your GRE and congratulations on your marriage! 'til we meet again for the BJ trip ;)
